TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Our promise to you:
We will contact you around 5 weeks before your event to finalise all details and send the final invoice.
All our items are checked thoroughly before each event making sure the cart is in perfect working condition.
Payment:
We accept payment via cheque, paypal, cash or bank transfer.

If you would like to pay via paypal there will be a 4% charge for this to cover the fees.
If you would like to pay by cash please let me know and I can arrange to meet you.
Once a payment has been made we will email you confirmation of receipt along with your completed booking form,
All prices are charged in UK Pounds.
All our prices include delivery and setup within 20 miles of DE55 1HD.
We will hold your chosen date for 2 weeks without a deposit; however to secure the date after the two week period a £50.00 non-refundable deposit is required or £20 non-refundable deposit for smaller items.
The final deposit is due 4 weeks before the event.
If the final payment has NOT been paid within 4 weeks of the event, The Sweet Station has the right to cancel the booking. If paying the final balance by cheque this needs to have been received and cleared 4 weeks before the event.
General:
The Sweet Station or any of my representatives shall not be liable in respect of damage/injury/loss or any other damage incurred in respect of this hire. We hold full public liability insurance and a copy of this can be given if you require it.
Permission should be sought by you the hirer from the venue as to the suitability of the hire of the cart and to ensure that the Sweet Cart will fit into your chosen venue. The dimensions of the Sweet Cart are 6' 6" high, 2' wide and 5' long and has 80cm wheels.
Although we endeavour to ensure that all your chosen sweet choices are presented to you, occasionally our suppliers change their sweets without notices, withdraw them from sale or have a quality alert on them, so on rare occasion we may contact you to provide us with an alternative sweet choice.
Our LOVE sign should not have anything attached to it as this could cause a fire hazard and please be aware the bulbs will get very hot. The LOVE sign requires an electric socket to be nearby. We can provide a long extension cable, however the wire will become a tripping hazard if this is not near to a socket, therefore we advise the sign should only be placed on a table or the cart nearby a socket/wall. All our electrical items are PAT tested.
Damage:
We require a £50 damage/loss fee for the Cart, Ferris wheel, Centrepieces and Ferrero Stands and £100 for the Post box and LOVE lights. This will be refunded within a week of the event if there are no issues/breakages/losses.
The cart must not be used for your guests to leave their drinks/glasses on.
Our cart is professionally painted and sign written and this may result in the cart being water damaged or stained.
Nothing must be attached to the hired item without prior agreement from ‘The Sweet Station’.
If any damage is caused to the hired item, the damage deposit will not be refunded. The Ferris Wheel is not a toy and children should be supervised when using the wheel. When rotating the Ferris Wheel please spin the wheel carefully, otherwise this may result in sweets falling out.
Loss/Serious Damage:
If for any reason the hired item is seriously damaged beyond repair/stolen a charge of £450 will be incurred for the cart or wheel and £250 for the LOVE light, wishing well and Post Box.
Glass Hire Agreement/ Breakage Charge:
All glassware that is delivered to your event by ‘The Sweet Station’ will be collected by us at an arranged date and time after the event.
If you are hiring on behalf of a business or organisation you confirm that you have the necessary authority to enter into this contract on behalf of that business or organisation and that you will make all reasonable efforts to ensure that the glassware is not damaged or misused during the period of the hire. This includes ensuring that the glassware can safely be used with any other items which you use. You shall not sell or attempt to sell or otherwise dispose of the glassware.
Privacy Policy/Data Protection:
We guarantee that your details will not be disclosed to third parties. We hold your details under the Data Protection Act 1998. These are only used by us to deliver your hired items. You can request removal of your details at any time.
Photographs/Publicity:
The Sweet Station would like to use images taken at events for our gallery/facebook page. Please let me know if you object to this.
Cancellation:
If you choose to cancel your booking the £50 deposit will not be refunded. If the booking is cancelled 3 months prior to the booking then you will not be liable to pay anything further however if it is cancelled after this 50% of the final booking cost must be paid (along with the deposit.)
By paying the deposit you are agreeing to the terms and conditions listed above. No alterations to these terms and conditions can be made unless I have agreed to these in writing.
